The 28th CBE China Beauty Expo
The CBE China Beauty Expo has been successfully held for 27 consecutive sessions to date, serving as a comprehensive global trade platform for the entire beauty industry chain. It is widely regarded as a barometer and leading indicator of China's booming beauty market. The 28th CBE China Beauty Expo will take place from May 22 to 24, 2024, at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (Pudong). With an exhibition area spanning up to 230,000 square meters, the event will cover categories such as skincare, color cosmetics & makeup tools, hair products, personal care items, maternal and infant care, fragrances and perfumes, oral health supplements, home-use beauty devices, franchising and service providers, professional beauty products and equipment, nail art, eyelash extensions, permanent makeup, as well as OEM/ODM/OBM services, packaging solutions, machinery, and raw materials—offering a complete ecosystem of services tailored to the global beauty industry.
The Shanghai International Beauty Expo (CIBE), originating from the CIBE China International Beauty Expo established in 1989, is one of China's largest and most historically significant beauty industry exhibition platforms. Today, the CIBE China International Beauty Expo is held annually across four major cities—Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen—in a total of six sessions, showcasing an exhibition area nearing one million square meters and attracting over 2.5 million visitors. Over the past 30 years, the expo has remained committed to fostering mass innovation and entrepreneurship, supporting the growth and transformation of cosmetic brands, and helping domestic brands expand internationally—to truly go global. Its impact on the industry has been nothing short of remarkable.
